The main objective of the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation is to provide fellowships for talented and motivated students from developing areas that allow them to obtain a bachelor or master degree at one of the academic partners of the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation. The Kofi Annan Business School Foundation itself does not actively engage in recruitment efforts.
The recruitment and selection of prospective students is a principal task for the business schools associated within the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation. The selection criteria can be found on the individual websites of the associated business schools. Students from developing areas who meet the selection criteria of the business school can be nominated for a fellowship of the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation.
The Board of the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation grants fellowships to prospective students on the basis of documents that prove academic excellence and a motivation letter that demonstrates both social responsibility and a clear business orientation. Once a fellowship is granted to a prospective student, the business schools associated within the Kofi Annan Business Schools Foundation are responsible for the actual enrolment procedure into its bachelor or master program, as well as arranging tickets and visa, and providing housing and insurance.
